Life is not a journey to anywhere as opposed to some philosophical thinkers. Life has nowhere to go and life is not rushing towards anywhere either. The goal of life is to live. That’s all. Just to simply be. According to Taoism, Sufism, Bhuddism and Hinduism the only thing that gives life its true meaning is us human beings not some acquired asset, status quo, fame, material wealth or job security.

These days we have become ‘human doings’ instead of Human beings. We think life is all about chasing something or obtaining something be it enlightenment, to get rich, to go to heaven, to get a job, to get sexual pleasure other than these things we cannot get satisfied even if we do acquire these things they are often short-lived, inadequate and only leave a craving and desire for me like alcohol. Mostly living life with the attitude for survival is exactly what makes it difficult to enjoy life because that programme running in your head is that of Darwinism. Living in fear and in survival will make you to not see everyone else as allies but as enemies and potential competition. This is not how life should be lived as that kind of mentality will only bring suffering, despair and anxiety.

This is why the phrase human doing is what humanity has become rather than human being meaning to simply ‘be human.’ Life is a 💃 dance. All we need to do is dance with it. For example consider that it takes planet 🌍 Earth 365 days to complete its revolution around the ☀ Sun and the Milky Way Galaxy ACTUALLY rotates just like earth does to keep life dancing, living, evolving, dying and billions of microscopic and macroscopic organisms being formed again and again. The galaxy is like a Cosmic 🕒 Clock that keeps ticking to keep life dancing not so different from our Urban world today where we use these analogue and digital clocks to keep to schedule and do our daily works such as going to school, work, church, the Mall, visit friends etc. You dance to the clock without even being aware of it playing this game we call Life.

The point of life is the dance itself. It is not about adding something or subtracting something to modify it to our desperate wants which have now become our needs due to so programming from mainstream media. Programming? Yes. Unfortunately I’m about to ask you a very thought-provoking question about you as individual in this modern society. Who were you before the world started telling you who you should be? Did you read my question carefully? Or should I repeat it? Before you were born into this world before being a toddler you knew absolutely nothing. Look into the eyes of a 9 months old 👶 baby and you will see black innocent eyes depending on the color of the baby’s iris but more often than not the innocent look on the baby’s eyes clearly show you that you need to teach him or her.

Now that teaching such as how to walk, talk, differentiate between danger and harmless objects, when to eat, putting the baby sleep, teaching the baby to get used to his or her “Given” name, changing the baby’s diapers etc. All that teaching where did the authority figure parent get it? Obviously from his or her very own parents and where did those parents get this information from others and on and on until the great great great great grandparents better yet ancestors. The teaching they all got depending on which generation they were from, which environmental conditions they were in, which era, life standards and society they were living in at that time mostly came from their own ancestors or the late generation who often also got their information from somewhere.

Where am I going with this? I’m saying that often there was a source which was providing them information. Sources can range from early progenitors, extraterrestrial intelligence, Chief Elders, other cultures through interaction if they were that old to 📻 radio, television, internet, religious, political and educational institutions available today. Media as it is contributes the greatest percentage today as a source of information. To put it straight the media is owned by 6 major corporations most from the US. So that means you have 6 major corporations controlling world wide information served to currently 7.8 billion people and still counting 24 hours straight. Media is a Greek word for Medea who was a Greek goddess who could turn people into stone if they gazed into her eyes. First that’s a terrible background to name an information source by second the Greek word for government breaking it apart “ment” means mind then govern means rule so government means to govern the mind.

Back to the media corporations feeding you bulletins, statistics, stories and data such corporations own several media tools such 📰 newspapers, radio stations, televisions now Google with the leading edge on the internet. Radio stations control what you hear. Newspapers and libraries control what you read. Educational institutions control the information you get grade by grade and even in tertiary institutions although this can vary. Televisions control what you see. Some Internet platforms control what your sources of information get to be as they claim to have the right to ban certain content and information with specific reasons of course like attempting to ruin that company’s reputation by exposure, fraud, spamming, hacking, giving no credit, claiming content that is not yours and much more.

Life is about not even about finding out some secret formula for catching the lottery because the machine generates the numbers at random you just have to guess. There is no secret algorithm. But the truth is that ultimately it is we who must decide what we get to see, hear, read, learn, adopt, tolerate, accept and strive towards. Our parents were only just doing their job which they were programmed to do for many years so it seems that your job is to get a job. But deep deep down we all know that’s not what life is about. Chasing coins our entire lives until we die. Life is not a Super Mario game. It is just a dance, a self-discovery game and an evolutionary experiment. It is also very important to note that life is not a race or competition either it is we who make it to be. The only person you should be competing with is yourself because comparing yourself to another person you admire or envy is clearly an insult to yourself. Believe in yourself. Let no one rush you.

Lastly do not be afraid to fail. The problem with our current educational institutions is that they punish us for making mistakes and call us stupid and claim that we will never be successful unless we memorize the answers for the exams exactly as they are. This is not good inculcation but is forced learning to overload us with useless information that not even half of it will ever be used in the employment sector. Schools should be teaching students how to make 💰 money. 🏫 Schools should be fun and shouldn’t feel like prison or hell. Because the school system is rigged most children hate school not to even mention the cruel teachers and bullies roaming around the school premises. All 12-16 years of our lives we are groomed to only be job hunters. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma said that students have to be “job creators” but this will not happen unless schools start teaching us the right relevant things to apply in our everyday lives. No one wishes to be a semi-skilled labourer or worker for their entThe youth of today often lacks financial literacy and financial skills. Besides even the lecturers themselves don’t even use the information they teach us and that’s a false teacher. If you don’t practice and apply what you teach but expect others to then clearly you are a hypocrite. Just doing your job for a paycheck. So live your life without regrets and enjoy it to the fullest in whatever form it is. Start by accepting that it was destined to be this way for you to learn, grow and accept it just as it is because God never makes mistakes. Everything is happening exactly according to plan. Evil forces may try to twist things here and there but God is always a thousand steps ahead of them. God can never be defeated nor tainted. God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient and omniclairvoyant. This is why even the Egyptian sun deity Ra himself called God “Intelligent Infinity.” No one can surpass God’s Intelligence. So start living with optism and unshakable faith in the highest God of all gods. So live life with the optism of making friends because life is all about cooperation and not survival, race or competition. We are not living in the jungles anymore where the phrase ‘survival of the fittest’ applied. We live in cities in modern Urban or rural settlements so we have to cooperate with one another, help each other and love each other. “Love your neighbor as you love yourself .”-
